Hi, I'm Katie! I am very excited to be a part of making your dream vacation everything you could desire and more. I've been in the travel industry since 2018, but my passion for travel goes back even further to planning the itineraries for family vacations as a kid.

I believe that the best way to learn about the world is to see it first hand, and I would love to help you do that. Whether you're looking for help planning your first vacation or your twentieth, I am here to make the process easier so you can just go and enjoy yourself without worrying about every tiny detail.

"We're already looking forward to the next one."

"Katie was the perfect person to help us plan our honeymoon! She organized the timeline, excursions, tickets and everything for us. Her knowledge about the location we went to was more than we could have asked for, and she was available to answer questions if we needed her. I would use her to plan any future trip and we're already looking forward to the next one."

FAQ's

Q: What's the best way to find out about entry requirements for my next trip?

A: For our Canadian travellers, we highly recommend using travel.gc.ca. This is a great tool to be able to find not only your entry requirements, but also about any travel warnings/rules that may not be common knowledge (i.e. no gum in Singapore), and other helpful tidbits about your destination.

Q: Do I need travel insurance, even if I'm staying within my home country?

A: Yes! Travel insurance is the best way to protect yourself from any of the things that could go wrong, as much as we don't want them to. There are many different kinds of insurance and coverage that can be tailored to your trip. The last thing you want to worry about is not having the option to recover your money if something doesn't go as planned.

Q: Is it better to book early or last minute?

A: It definitely depends on the trip. There are benefits to booking early, such as guaranteeing your spot, getting your preference for cruise cabins, and choosing your airline seats before the flight fills up. There are also benefits to waiting such as price drops on vacation packages, and seat sales on flights.

Q: How do travel agents get paid, and will it cost me extra?

A: Great question! Typically the resorts and travel companies pay the agents, so you don't have to pay any extra for our expertise. Many resorts and companies follow price parity. This means that whether you book through us, directly with the resort, or through an online site, the cost is the same. The benefit to booking with us is having a trusted agent to help you plan your dream vacation, without the stress of balancing all the individual components yourself!

Q: How do I pay for my vacation?

A: Depending on how far out you book your trip will determine if you need to only pay the deposit or the full trip cost upfront. Your trip payments will be made directly to the travel operator through our host agency, Nexion. We never charge your credit card ourselves. This ensures your payment is applied directly to your vacation at the time of booking.

Q: What qualifications and  professional travel associations do you have?

A: As an Ontario-based travel agent, I am a member of TICO (Travel Industry Counsel of Ontario). I am also a member of IATA (International Air Transport Association), have my CLIA certification (Cruise Lines International Association), and I have a Tourism Travel Services Management diploma from Humber College, where I finished top of my graduating class.

Q: How can I reach you during my trip if I need assistance?

A: It's best to reach out by email, especially if there's a time difference while you're on vacation.

Q: Are you willing to be available after business hours if needed?

A: Yes, in the event of an emergency while on your trip, I am happy to assist in any way I can. Leading up to your trip, I am also happy to work with you on any last minute things that might pop up.
